General Peter Chiarelli (Ret.) served as the US Army’s 32nd Vice Chief of Staff. He is a passionate advocate for advances in head health in the military, sports, and society. While serving, General Chiarelli led Department of Defense efforts to address post-traumatic stress (PTS) and traumatic brain injury (TBI). Now retired after 39 years of military service, he is CEO of One Mind, an organization dedicated to using open science principles and creating global public-private partnerships to develop and implement improved diagnostics, treatments, and cures for brain illnesses and trauma.
